1. Scope and priority of specific terms
This policy applies to paid online Islamic education classes and related services supplied directly by Zumar Limited. A website enquiry or unpaid consultation does not create a payment or refund entitlement.
The course page, written quotation, invoice, or enrolment confirmation may contain service-specific cancellation terms. Where those terms are clearly disclosed before payment and are lawful, they will supplement this policy. This business draft requires qualified legal review before production publication.
2. Cancelling before a course or package starts
Unless a clearly disclosed service-specific rule applies, you may request cancellation at least 48 hours before the first scheduled paid class. The draft default is a refund of the tuition paid for the cancelled course or package, less only any non-recoverable third-party transaction charge that was disclosed before payment and may lawfully be retained.
A request received less than 48 hours before the first class may instead qualify for one reschedule or account credit, depending on instructor availability and costs already committed. Any statutory cancellation right that applies to the customer will take priority over this draft rule.
3. Cancelling after classes have started
Unless different written terms were accepted at enrolment, a learner may request cancellation within 7 calendar days after the first paid class and before 25% of the booked lessons have been delivered. The draft remedy is a pro-rata refund for undelivered lessons, less only disclosed and lawfully retainable third-party charges.
After that point, fees are generally non-refundable for a voluntary withdrawal, but Zumar Limited may offer a transfer, reschedule, or time-limited credit where there are compassionate circumstances and the course format permits it. This discretion does not reduce any mandatory consumer right.
4. Missed classes and learner-side technical issues
If a learner misses a class without giving the notice stated in the enrolment confirmation, the class may be treated as delivered and may not be refundable. Where at least 24 hours' notice is given, we will aim to offer a reasonable reschedule when the selected service and instructor availability allow it.
A class affected only by the learner's device, power, internet connection, late arrival, or inability to access a working third-party platform is not automatically refundable. Please contact us promptly so that reasonable troubleshooting or an available reschedule can be considered.
5. Cancellation or disruption by Zumar Limited
If Zumar Limited cancels a class, cannot provide a confirmed service, or experiences a material technical failure within our reasonable control, we will offer a replacement class, an equivalent credit, or a refund for the affected undelivered portion. For a cancelled course that cannot reasonably be rescheduled, the draft default is a refund of the amount paid for the undelivered service.
We will communicate known schedule changes as early as reasonably possible. Instructor illness, platform outages, emergencies, or events outside reasonable control may require rescheduling; any remedy will take account of the service actually delivered and applicable law.
6. Trials, promotions, and digital materials
A free trial has no refundable cash value. A paid trial follows the cancellation terms disclosed when it is booked. Discounts, scholarships, bundles, or promotional credits are refunded only to the extent of the amount actually paid and in accordance with the specific offer terms.
Where downloadable or immediately accessible digital materials form a separately priced part of a purchase, their refund treatment should be disclosed before payment and reviewed for compliance with applicable consumer law. Accessing materials does not remove a mandatory right that cannot lawfully be waived.
7. How to request a cancellation or refund
Email info@zumarlimited.com from the address used for the enquiry or enrolment. Include the learner's name, course or class, payment reference, requested remedy, and a short explanation. Do not send full card, mobile-wallet PIN, password, or other sensitive payment credentials.
We aim to acknowledge a complete request promptly and make an initial decision within 7 business days. Additional verification or information may be required, and this target is not a guarantee where the matter is complex or depends on a payment provider.
8. Approved refunds and disputes
An approved refund will normally be sent to the original payment method unless another method is agreed and permitted. Zumar Limited may initiate the refund promptly after approval, but banks, mobile-wallet operators, card networks, and other providers may require additional processing time outside our control.
If you believe a decision is incorrect, reply with the relevant facts so that the matter can be reviewed. You may contact info@zumarlimited.com or our office in Bangladesh using the details on the website. This policy does not limit a non-waivable right or remedy available under applicable law.
